1) The opening and closing direction of Pneumatic Gate Valve shall be clockwise.
2) As the Pneumatic Gate Valve in the pipe network are often opened and closed manually, the number of opening and closing revolutions should not be too much, even large caliber valves should also be within 200-600 revolutions.
3) In order to facilitate the opening and closing operation by one person, the maximum opening and closing torque should be 240N-m under the working pressure of the pipe.
4) The operating end of the Pneumatic Gate Valve shall be square tenon, with standardized size and facing the ground, so that people can operate directly from the ground. Valves with discs are not suitable for underground pipe networks.
5) Display panel of opening and closing degree of Pneumatic Valve
① The scale line of the opening and closing degree of the pneumatic valve shall be cast on the gearbox cover or the housing of the display panel after the direction change, all of which face the ground, and the scale line shall be painted with fluorescent powder to show eye-catching;
② The indicator needle can be made of stainless steel plate under good management, otherwise it is painted steel plate, and aluminum sheet is not allowed to be used;
③ The indicator disc needle shall be eye-catching and firmly fixed. Once the opening and closing adjustment is accurate, it shall be locked with rivets.
6) If the Pneumatic Gate Valve is buried deeply, and the distance between the operating mechanism and display panel and the ground is ≥ 1.5m, an extension rod facility should be set and firmly fixed for people to observe and operate from the ground. That is to say, the valve opening and closing operation in the pipe network is not suitable for downhole operation
